Our 12 year camping buddy passed the rainbow bridge.

I don't think I've ever been this heartbroken. We knew he was going to passed, he was diagnosed in 2018 with cancer. He died June 30 2022 at home of congestive heart failure. We spend the winters in Florida, everyone will miss him. The photo of him was the day before he passed. I don't think I will ever get another GSD, he was much too special.Click image for larger version.

So sad. They definitely make a place in your heart and are so hard to say goodbye and recover. We had to put The Boz down recently. He was 13 and just woke up one morning in bad bad shape. You’ll always have great memories.

Sorry to hear this. I don't think anything prepares you for such a dear loss. Stay well, safe travels.

I feel for you. I never would have thought it could be so difficult to lose a pet until we lost our pooch. It was 10 years ago and we still can't get another one because the thought of going through that again... Hang in there.

I am so sorry for your loss. Our pets are ever loving, never judging, unless dinner time is delayed. We have always had dogs as family members all of our lives. Having lost 7 of them I can empathize. They are always remembered and hold a special place in our hearts for sharing their lives with us.

Sadie, our 13 year standard poodle and Tucker, our juvenile delinquent 2 year old chocolate lab will give him a lick when they meet him in that place all good dogs go.

We’re so sorry for your loss. What a beautiful dog. We unexpectedly lost our 12.5 year old Golden, Timber, 2 years ago and still miss him. Expected or not, it’s devastating when it happens.

There is never enough to say to ease the sadness when you lose dog that was so close to your heart. You have great memories to take with you.

I’m sorry to hear about your loss, we had to put down our 13 1/2 year old English Bulldog last fall. As said above you never think that you could find another dog to love that much, but for us that was proven wrong when Sadie a 8 month old Ol English bulldog needed to be re homed. God Bless and we pray for time to help heal your pain.
