Need replacement tires for 217 Momentum 328M

Guys and gals, i am brand new to this site and would like to get some input on what would be good replacement tires for my rig. Yesterday i had a blowout. My tires are Hanjook ST 235/80R G Series tires with a DOT code of 4117. I am considering 1) new Hanjooks, 2) Sailun ST 637s or 3) Transeagle All Steel 14 ply radials, H series. The reviews on the H series Transeagles seem really good similar to the Sailuns. It sounds like the H series Transeagles are REALLY thick and heavy. I am kind of worried that if i have another flat that i will not be able to get the flat off and spare on.and yes, i am 69 but i do have AAA plus that covered my RV.

My ‘22 310GK came with H series Coopers. Only about 2500 miles on them so I can’t say if they are any good. They stand vertical…no sidewall pooch even tho they have 120psi in them.

Sailuns here too. FYI, this has been covered several times here over the years. Do a tire search in the upper right Search Box and you'll find plenty of support for the different brands. Good luck going forward.

Hey @Barry ALLEN, welcome to the forum. As you've already seen, lots of friendly folks here willing to help a fellow RVer out. Hope you get your tire situation solved, the prospect of changing tires (at 71) doesn't excite me pleasantly either.

Sailuns get my vote. Twice. I'm on my second set (3rd if you count the ones that go caught up in a recall). I also up-sized to the ST235-85R16 G earlier this year.

Think you for the input. Your post in very timely as i have decided on the Sailuns (primarily due to the many positive reviews on this site) and am sitting now considering the benefits of upsizing to the 235/85s. What lead you to decide to upsize to the 85s.

Thanks for the advice to use the search feature. I am pretty much overwhelmed worth info now. GD was completely useless. I have decided on the Sailuns regardless of where they are made and now i am pondering if i should upsize from the 80s to the 85s.

Larry from going from the 80's to 85's have you had any problem with the tires hitting the trailer at the top. If I'm not mistaken the 85's are about an inch taller.

Mostly I wanted the hight increase; and it didn't hurt that they will carry more load.

Here is a link to the 2 sizes.
