2017 Solitude 374th notched sofa replacement

We are looking to replace our sofas that are on a platform on the slide outs. They are notched in the front and we are having a difficult time finding any that will fit and are not pleather. What solutions has anyone else found to replace these sofas?

Hey @Gary E, looks like this is your first post, welcome aboard. There are many threads on sofa replacements in the forums, it would help to know what size the unit you're replacing is.

    Gary,

I searched for photos of your RV in your model year and see the sofas... but I'm not understanding what you mean by "notched in the front." Can you upload a photo for us?

It is a 76" trifold sleeper sofa. GD part number 4272441 made by Lippert, but Lippert says they no longer make these.

They're spendy, but it's hard to get better RV furniture than Lambright. Here's one of their 76" sleeper sofas at Bradd & Hall:

The front face of the couch hangs over the front edge of the platform slide to hide it so it hangs down further than the front legs of the sofa. They call that "notched".Click image for larger version.

I know Lambright has different kits depending on whether the sofa is mounted in a slide or not. You might have a conversation with Bradd & Hall and see what they way.

I wanted to replace it with a sofa bed but only Brad & Hall make them still that will fit in the raised floor slide area. They are way to expensive so I am looking at reupholstering it or just putting a cover over it. I know quite a few people who replace them with a regular couch or chair. The wires should not be a problem hiding or rerouting them along the side of the slide to get them out of the way.

Bradd & Hall doesn't make anything - they are a retailer of several brands. Have you looked at RecPro?
