Careful on a ladder, but if you can get an up close shot and/or disassemble it would help. I think they are stuck on reflectors.

I believe they are part of the newer back up lighting system.

Does your truck have a pass through back up circuit to light them? Do the other back up lights work, the ones that are part of the LED brake/signal lights?

I would wonder why they put backup lights on the side rather than on the rear. And it seems odd to put reflectors up that high. I'd like to know what they are too.

If that's what they are, they're probably in addition to rear backup lights. I can usually see what's directly behind the trailer, but it would be good to see what's on either side of the tail before it wags.

Contacted the salesman who spoke with grand design rep and Clifford they are backup lights. Found burnt fuse on truck. All is well and working perfectly. Thank you all for the help.

    They Are Back Up Lights

Front cap switch doesn’t turn them on. I really thought that they were either backup lights when in reverse or lights that can turn on by a switch.
They are indeed additional backup lights. We have them on our 390RK. I had to reach out to GD to get the answer. I proved it to myself by jumping the 7 way and they and the two clear lower back up lights both come on at the same time. I really did not want to connect my truck so that was easier.

Those lights are White "Reverse/Back up lights". They illuminate the area behind the camper when the truck is in reverse.
