Indoor vs. Outdoor Speaker Volume

That is pretty dumb that you can't control volume via zone. Whatever system is installed in my 320G will allow me to adjust all 3 zones independent of each other.

If you put the inside speakers on the control you can turn it down when you run the outside speakers.

You might be able to get away with with mounting it behind the radio even. Just set the levels once and forget it.

Not a bad idea. Just put the "audio dimmer" if you will on the one that is loudest and set it to match.

Has anyone found a way to calibrate the indoor speaker volume vs the outdoor speaker volume?

In our new Reflection, the head unit needs to be on at least 32-34 to hear the music outside the trailer. If I turn on the indoor speakers as well, they will blast you out of the trailer.

Does anyone know if there is a way to sync the volumes? I'm wondering if the speaker zones were swapped around, if it would be closer to what you'd expect, the indoors to be less loud and the outdoors to be a little higher. I'm not thinking the head unit has higher output on two channels than on the other two but that's sure what it seams.

Which head unit do you have? Is it the Rockford Fosgate PMX-1?

If so I can comment on that.

I don't remember the brand, but I'm pretty certain it isn't anything near a Rockford Fosgate. I'll have to look. This summer has just been nuts and I haven't spent hardly any time at all in the trailer.
