Is our Dometic slide in Range missing a few finish pieces?

It seems like our Dometic slide in Range is missing a some "finish" parts. Is this a normal install? The range has exposed raw edges on both sides of the range where it meets the counter top. Is this normal or are we missing a couple finish pieces that would cover the raw edges?

    Thanks

Looks to me like that’s not the original range. Is that new?

Its the range that it originally came with when we purchased it and we are the original owners. I think its the basic or bottom line range. It just doesn't look finished to me. I guess I should have taken a pic of the whole range and not just close-ups of each side.

I don't believe I would be happy with that. It looks unfinished, and that's surely not what you've paid for. The dealer, or builder, needs to make it right. You don't say what year it is, but I have read that Grand Design was finishing out trailers with whatever parts they had on hand to get them out the door. Maybe yours is one that should have had a stove that wasn't in stock, so you got what they had. I certainly wouldn't settle for it.

It looks like your missing a finishing piece that goes in front of the black ledge. It also looks like the counter was cut to short but then you posted a pic with the glass top that fits. Almost looks like that glass top was to wide so they cut the counter to make it fit.

It is now 4 years old, and you are just getting around to addressing this? Why now?

Actually we've only owned the trailer just over three years, but you've made a fair point.... When you look our trailer up on GGs web page they call it a 2018/2019 model year. This is our very first trailer and we just assumed that it is the way it is. We were told that all trailer manufacturers cut corners and we lived with it. It wasn't until a friend purchased an Imagine trailer did we notice that something is missing on the range and that was about or so a year ago. By then our dealer had long since been bought out by that large RV chain and they no longer carry GD. Ever since then, I've been looking for a way to neaten or dress up the range a bit. I've even searched the Dometic web site trying to identify the missing piece, so I could order it. I found that to be a complete waste of time.
