Trim work...falling off...? How to properly reattach?

Recent trip lost two pieces of trimwork.

One Large one in the bedroom. Attached by U style staples. Any way for me to reattach or dealer...?

One in Living room along the window. I cant tell how it was attached... see no stapes or screws etc.....

I've used a brad nailer in our 399 for numerous trim pieces that fell off.

Mine is from harbor freight, but only because someone gave it to me and I very rarely use it. If I used it more frequently, I'd reconsider a better one, but this one has held up for almost 10 years.

Mine is pneumatic, but if purchasing, I'd go with Milwaukee since I have a lot of M12 and M18 tools. I'd recommend battery with whatever you have for other stuff. I have a battery 16g nailer and love it (M18). As far as size, depends on trim piece, for brad nails, 1.5" is usually sufficient.

I'd strongly suggest some regular wood glue and a few small nails.

That's what I'd do. If that second piece is wrapped in fabric, maybe the large head furniture nails.

Thanks. The area that is wrapped in fabric is not the contact point.

My understanding is that if the slide ever needs to be removed the trim pieces need to come off. If the trim were glued it would be damaged if removal was necessary.

I had the same problem on my new 378MBS on the living room slide. I am having the dealer repair it. That said though, DW and I are concerned about the rest as well so I am going to try to use small trim screws from Home Depot with a wood plug to cover them up. That way I know they won't ever come off while travelling and if they need to come off for slide repairs pop the plugs and unscrew.

I second this. I just recently upgraded my pneumatic to battery and love it. A lot less hassle to use. But to the OP, I usually glue and nail but in the RV I would just use Brad nail, no glue I case you need to remove it.
