ColemanMach 15K not working, its HOT.
Driving cross county and stopped in toasty Nebraska.
I’ve tried the 30amp and 50 amp at the post. I’ve tried bypassing my EMS. All 120v systems are working including water heater.
When ac is selected, the inside and outside fan run but it’s pushing warm air. I’ve opened it up inside and I don’t see any loses wires or obvious issues.
No loose wires on thermostat, (AirXCEL), it’s 84* inside, when I set it to cool hi or cool hi auto and set the temp to say 74*, it flashes five times and then the fans come on but it’s warm air. I can see on the EMS display it’s only pulling 3 amps instead of like 15 amps. Cool low setting doesn’t work either.
Outside and inside of unit are super clean and sealed up.
Outside coils don’t feel hot or cold.
I’ve unplugged the camper for five minutes a few times, reset the two AC breakers for 5, 10,15 and 90 minutes. Then powered them on and tried again with no luck.
Any ideas? I assume this is a dealer level issue at this point unless you guys see something I missed.

You did go on the roof? Pull the cover and the electrical box covers inside the outside unit? If yes you probably have a dead compressor. Not sure if your Mach variant, there are two electrical boxes on top. One is housed in a metal box under the compressor fan. It is more of a junction box but I did have a disconnected wire on mine causing short cycling. The second is under the plastic evaporator housing and is where the thermostat and some control wiring is. Also the freeze sensor is plugged in the coils there. Verify the capacitors are plugged in and do not look burnt. Those caps are an easy replacement at any AC industrial type store. Johnson electric and so on.

I just checked the two capacitors and they look fine.
I’m thinking my next step would be to check for 120V at the compressor capacitor? I’m not sure which one, the short one has two tan wires and the tall one has white yellow and red wires.

Hello, the model is 48254C869.
I’m thankful it was in the upper 50’s here last night.

That’s the beauty of my MaxxFan that draws air in or out. Just need low 70’s to keep cool. Don’t know if you are troubleshooting more but it may be a day to try and snag a couple of capacitors when near a fairly large city. Get some pics of the caps and there sizes and keep them on hand. I would check all of those electrical boxes I mentioned and then try the caps. Hope it is something low cost.
Good luck.Randy and Kris

Part 11 and 12 and 13
You probably won’t find that 13, it is probably not a stock item at an AC refrig parts place. You can have mine if you swing by Cañon City CO. It was removed when I did the SoftStart.
