anyone replaced their Thetford toilet with a 320 elongated Dometic toilet

the Thetford toilet mounted in the 2022 solitude used a 10" setback (mounting bolt to the wall)

I want to install a 320 dometic with an elongated bowl and wondering if it will fit. The 320 calls for a 11" setback.

if anyone has done this or has a 320 on another trailer could you tell me the distance between the wall and the back of the toilet when mounted.

see the photo for a better explanation

I did install the 320 on a different trailer. There wasn't the recommended clearance but it still installed fine. The only issue was that the toilet cover wouldn't come up all the way, it bumped up against the wall. That wasn't a deal breaker for me or the DW.

It was another Dometic. It was their cheap one, I don't remember the model number. It was the one that had a leaking valve that allowed urine to pool inside the toilet, what a stink!

When I did mine there was less than 11" but the flange in the floor had a bit of give to adjust it a bit further from the wall. Fits fine.

Did a little checking, I replaced the 300 with the 323. If my memory is correct the set-back clearance was 10 1/2.

We put the 320 in our 337RLS. It was a close fit, but woks just fine,

I don’t remember what brand came originally. I know it wasn’t a Dometic. The setback is close to 10 1/2”.

When the 320 is mounted with a 11" distance wall to centerline of the flange bolts, it sits right at about 3/4" off the wall at the dam.
