Trouble with power when connected to truck

When I went to hook up my Reflection 260 RD, one of the electric would not work. Replaced the battery, still not working. The only thing that works are the marker lights (when I open the truck door) and the light inside the battery area. The landing gear won't work, the awning, the interior lights and slide out won't work. GD customer service said to check the 7 pin connectors, but they seem fine.

    What am I missing?

    Thanks

Is the battery disconnect switch off?

Does the 12v stuff work when not connected to the truck?

Is there a battery disconnect switch built in? I installed one, but took it off when I was trying to figure out what my problem might be.

Nothing works. I can't hook up to shore power, only the 7 prong to the truck.

The disconnect switch should be in your pass through storage area. If you can remove the key, the battery is disconnected. If the switch is in correct position, are you sure the battery is good?

Sounds like your battery disconnect switch is off. Look in the storage compartment curb side. Red handled switch. If you can pull it out...it's off. Turn it 90 degrees.

Just put a new battery an hour ago. I think you guys are right about the disconnect in the pass thru area.

Put a meter on the battery. For stuff to work it should be at least 12 volts - hopefully a bit more. If not then the battery is too low to work most things - it depends on the voltage of the battery. But to work the jacks the battery has to be rally healthy. Maybe take the battery out and go get it load tested.

    Assuming the battery is good....
With the meter still on the battery connect the 7 pin to the truck; start the truck; the voltage at the battery should go up to almost 14volts (from the truck's charging system).

If the voltage doesn't go up when connected to the truck you have some issues with the truck.

If the voltage does go up and your battery is quite healthy then things should work.

If the battery was bad or marginal then it may be a good idea to take it home and put it on a charger until it is healthy again.

You are correct. It was the disconnect in the pass through. We hadn't used the trailer for several months because of medical issues, and I just forgot it was there and it was covered up by a tub I had in there. Thank you.

Thanks. I forgot I had a battery disconnect in my pass through area. Duh!

You were correct. We hadn't used the trailer in several months due to medical issues, and the battery disconnect was blocked from view by a tub I had in there. Duh!!!! Thank you for responding.
