Rain in Omaha...

Wow, we just got lucky. Drove through heavy rain on I-80 East, got the the Omaha KOA, checked in, pulled into the site, got the coach leveled and slides out. As we were getting the coach level, it started to sprinkle, then rain a little harder as we got the slides out and while I was checking the slide seals. Then, the heavens opened up and just started dumping. We are (mostly) dry inside the coach, listening to the sound of the pouring rain and thunder (isn't there a song in that somewhere?), waiting for it to pass so we can go get supper.

Watching the radar - in Burlington IA tonight and Des Moines tomorrow - looks like it is heading this way. Maybe it will wash some of the bugs off......
