Pull the outlet out and apart and inspect it.
It's kind of strange it would trip the pedestal breaker and not the RV's breaker, but it could be a bad internal connection in the outlet.Larry KE4DMG

Be very careful about using a "power strip" (with or without a built in "surge protector"). I have seen the plastic encased units fail and cause fires. If one is needed, use one with a metal case (i.e., TrippLite IsoBar or IsoTel... the latter has a protected pass-through connection for a RJ11 telephone line). They are well worth the money.
