Certainly doesn't look like a Schwintek! Sure would be nice if GD would throw a few dollars to those of us that have had multiple slide failures.

You can see the adjustment can for a through the frame mechanism as they pan around to the back.

Whats harder to fix, a broken cable or a misaligned stuck Schwintek system?

Charged over $2k to fix cable AND remove room to replace crushed Teflon pad it sits on. Extremely rough concrete interstate in MI caused slide to bounce hard enough to do this damage.

Spoke to GD about this. They haven't stopped using the Schwintek system. They are using the upgraded/fixed Schwintek system (Lippert has addressed all of the issues) and GD is now building them with the new components, as well as a "rack and pinion system".
Depending on the model, they will use one or both of the slide systems. For example. The Reflection 303rls, will get the rack and pinion system on the two big slides and the wardrobe slide will use the new and improved Schwintek system.
Hope this helps.

Curious on what was changed on the Schwintek system.

Can’t guarantee I am right, but this is what I have been able to sleuth.
Upgraded motors: newer motors with better connectivity. No longer soldered directly on the board of the motor, but now on top with a connector.
Newer system called the Slim Rack. Similar methodology as Schwintec, but different and simpler racks that are “potentially” not subject to the same failures as the current racks. They look more flimsy to me but time will tell.
