    Water Heater

Just curious about the water heater if staying home for a couple of months do you empty the water heater or leave it filled?

If I'm going to be home for a couple of weeks or longer, I always drain the water heater. After draining I put the plug back in.

I empty the water heater fresh water tank and blow out the plumbing with compressed air. Then sanitize just before next use. Works for me.
