Dinette cushions from RecPro?
The stock ones for our booth have been barely tolerable for the trips we have done. But now looking at continuous use for a 3 month period over the winter. The DW wants me to pull out the entire booth...but can't decide on a replacement table and chair, and time for the mod is growing short....and she doesn't want to give up the dream of having a bed space for the very rare time our granddaughter may go on a trip with us.
Anyone just replace the cushions with the ones from RecPro? Are they significantly better, especially for longer periods of use (computer, playing cards, etc.)?2017 Imagine 2670MK

I think you'll have a much better result by visiting a local upholstery shop to have a custom set made. It's been a long while since we had a dinette, but when we did I went to an upholstery shop that specialized in boats and they made outstanding cushions for us. Layered types and densities of foam were key.

We had the foam replaced in our cushions last year. Should have done it sooner. We have a Foam Factory in our area that charged about $49 and change each, and put the foam back into the seat covers. Best $100 I spent in out TT is under my butt.

Marcy redid ours years ago herself. She used more foam than what they came with. Have been a lot more comfortable since,

Thanks all!
Checked in to the local guy, who my business partner many, many years ago took our restaurant booth seating to for repairs. He does a lot of boat and RV rework. Wouldn't give a ballpark cost, but will when I bring them in for direct appraisal.
DW is still pondering whether I should fire up my saws and create a whole new dining/convertible bed setup. Sometimes I don't like pinterest.....2017 Imagine 2670MK

Here's an interesting option for replacement cushions of a greater density. https://www.rvandvansurplus.com/Cush...vers_c_13.html
