New to us 2020 Imagine 2670MK
Just took possession of a never used 2020 Imagine 2670MK. We slept on the bed two nights...yikes!
Any suggestions for a topper to prevent back pain, or should we just swap out the mattress altogether?
Thanks,
OutAndAbout

Welcome to the forum! If you use the search function (top right), you'll find dozens... if not hundreds... of threads on this topic. You'll also get about as many opinions. Many of us old-timers/long-timers suggest that, if you have a mattress in the house you like, buy another one and put it in the RV. We have a Tuft & Needle foam mattress and love it. Toppers can be hit-or-miss.
You can create a signature block with your RV and tow vehicle information (see mine below). That way you won't have to repeat that information whenever you post or ask a question - and others won't have to ask. You can create a signature by going to:

We used a foam topper for several years, both in our old 5th, and moved it to the 2670MK. Generally better...but then upgraded to a Costco mattress (maybe a "Purple"?) (because one can take it back almost anytime!) Vast improvement. Only two issues - need to rework the strut supports for the bed hatch as the new is to heavy for the existing to keep the hatch open...and the mattress is much thicker, so now need a small step stool to climb into bed!

Congrats on your purchase.
My wife found a 2" memory foam topper on Amazon which we have used now for 4 years. Sleep like babies.
Be forewarned, you'll end up fighting with it a bit to get the fitted bedsheet on due to side closets. The topper is not very slippery.
We expect to at some point replace it with residential style mattress but it hasn't needed it yet.
Good luck.

Welcome to the forum. As others have said, a topper is a good solution. A 3 inch gel foam feels comfy to me (https://smile.amazon.com/LUCID-3-inc...dp/B01H2OCVYO/).

I installed this mattress. Very comfy, mattress in a box (no trouble getting it in the camper), doesn't require changing bed foundation struts and doesn't obstruct the cpap cubbies (which is important to me).

Hope you find the perfect bedding for you and that you enjoy your 2670MK as much as we enjoy ours.
