Waterproof Electrical Connector

I noticed on my 310gk that there is a 12v waterproof electrical connector, in front of the passenger side front tire. It appears to be just covered, with nothing wired to it. Does anyone know what this is, and if it is connected to any of the switches? I am looking to put in some step lights, and if this is switched 12V power, that would be great.

When was it built?

Do you have the Curt anti-lock brake axles?

They have a diagnostic port that hangs out from the underbelly for the ABS.

It's a 2022, built in April of 2022. It has the standard 7K axles and Drum brakes - I dont beleive these are Curt ABS, but I will need to check.

I'm not 100% sure when they started the ABS axles, but they are the standard 7k electric drum brakes.

You can tell by getting down and looking at the drum itself. If it is a smooth edge, it is not ABS. If it is segmented, like little squares, it is ABS. Should also have another wire going into the brake assembly from the rear, besides the brake wires themselves. That is the ABS sensor wire.
