thermistor replacement
Is there an easy way to pull a new one through? Fridge decided to get stuck at 40 no matter what setting. Did all the resistance testing on heating element etc....figured this 20 bucks could be well spent. Haven't checked that resistance yet....just a few days ago fridge staying 33.....
Dometic 1350. Fans all work inside and out. Did the 4 hour cool down and whack trick.....nope.Jim and Belinda H. Pa.

Have a new thermistor coming today....but I took off the screw holding the thermistor to to top of the fridge (where it has been for years ) and dropped it down to 1st shelf.
Weather broke but was never really that hot either.....been sitting at 34 or 35 on setting 4 for the last few days. I had fridge on its coldest setting because the sun was on fridge side all afternoon.
Maybe I overtaxed the system? Going to ride it out and see how it behaves till mid Nov when we snowbird in SC for 4 months. Thanks for asking.Jim and Belinda H. Pa.
