    Leaving slides out during storage

I have not been able to use my 2014 Reflection RES293 for the last 3 years. I left the slides out, no coverings. Now I notice on the slide on the refrigerator side has soft and delaminating plywood for 4-6 inches on each end. Is this easily repairable, and how big an issue is it? There is no moisture or leakage from the roof. The roof is in fine shape, no moisture anywhere inside that I can detect.

Delamination is usually caused by moisture. Does this show up in pictures? How is the seals along the roof edge, have you inspected the caulking along the edge. That could be an entry point. On our '14 the sides of the slide are sealed with eternabond, what condition is that in?

Sorry, Can't help with trying to fix it.

Where is the "plywood" soft? Sidewalls? Flooring?

Have you checked and caulked the seals faithfully?

It is only soft for about 4-6 inches underneath the slide. It is only on the front and back of the slide. I have not noticed any problem on sidewalls or flooring. The seals seem to be just fine.

And in case you haven't read yet, manufacturer recommends slides are in when not in use for periods of time. Just mentioning so that hopefully you don't have a repeat if you get it repaired.

Well, original warranty on sealant is 90 days......so take it for what it is.

Personally, I am always looking at my sealant and roof.
