water drips coming from under side of our imagine 2500RL

    Dear user forum,
We are new to RVing and have a 2022 2500RL that has had water drips coming from underneath and wondered if you have any experience with this and what could be the cause. We have only camped 3 times for a few days each.

    Some details:
    - drips are clear, no odor
    - Happened twice and only noticed after a short drive to the dump station (maybe movement redistributed the water?). At other times not leaking. No leaks upon return home.
    - The first time it was coming thru the underbelly membrane in a couple places near the axle area.
-The second time, it was coming from the membrane near the black water gate valve.

    - amount of leak low and amounted to maybe 1 cup first time and 1/2 cup second time, maybe 1-2 drips per second.
    - No evidence of any leaks inside the trailer living area we can see
    - Both times we had this happen, we had a rainy day for one of the camp days a couple days prior(don't know if this is related). No evidence of water on floor after the rain.
    - Both times it happened we had black and grey tanks about 2/3 full on drive to dump station.
    - On the first time we were using city water and not the fresh tank and the fresh tank was empty.
    - On the second time, we were using the fresh tank only, but it was empty when we drive to the dump station.
    - The leaks occurred prior to opening the black and grey dump valves or using the black water flush port.
    - No evidence of the water pump running at a time when water not turned on.
    - We have the 12V furrion fridge. Not sure if there is a drain for condensation water or not.
    - The dealer took the membrane off after the first time and could not find leak.
    - Our warranty is up in October, however this issue was reported in a warranty claim to GD after the first shop visit in July. They tested the black flush line but no leak found there.

Any thoughts on possible causes we should check? Have any of you had this happen.
Should we be concerned with this or just let it go?
Should we go to GD directly or go back to the dealer and have them check again?

    Many thanks for any thoughts.
Apologies for all the details but figured more info was better...

    Jon

If the water is clear and has no smell, it's unlikely it has anything to do with your waste tanks. If it happens only when you use the black tank flush, it could be the backflow preventer/vacuum breaker on the flush line or the fittings on the back of the Nautilus panel for the flush line (I've had issues with both). Once water from any kind of a leak hits the top of the Coroplast underbelly, it can come out anywhere based on how level the trailer is or if it has been moved, so that location doesn't tell you anything. I would confirm whether or not it happens when you use the black tank flush and, if that's the case, remove (or have the dealer do so) whatever is necessary to visualize the vacuum breaker and the connection on the back side of the Nautilus panel.

Oh - and no apologies necessary. More information is always better.

Thank-you very much for the reply on the leak. I actually saw the drips prior to using the black tank flush on both occasions. The dealers shop person actually had the same theory about the black tank pressure fill line leaking, and did some testing on it but did not find a leak in the black tank fill line. They we unable to locate a source. Since I have since had a repeat, it appears to still be there. Sure would be nice to not have the membrane there and I could just pinpoint the source from underneath!
