Did you leave you inverter on all the time or only when you needed it? I purchased a 3k version and it was dead on arrival. It's a long story, but I did finally get a good one days before I left on a trip.

Since turning it off and on is a PIA, I leave my 3,000-watt Renogy inverter on all the time. It does draw a small amount of power even when idle but the convenience outweighs that. Also, I like having the clock on the microwave all the time.

I turn the inverter off when not in use . No big power saving but just do . Also turn tv antenna booster off when not using. It was 105 deg the 2 days we ran the AC started at 100 % battery and in the morning had 70%
Not that hot at night so it didn't run much after it cooled down .

Portable panels work nicely as you can angle them for best performance, where I'm located you start chasing the sun.....makes that easier.

Sweet system, I've read on those batteries...great value.

Conner, I have a similar setup but with five 200 watt panels on the roof and four 100ah lithiums in the front storage next to 5500 watt Onan generator. I was wondering how you are able to fit those batteries in your camper. I guess you could stack them on a shelf above the bottom row? I'm also worried about adding too much pin weight.

As far as pin weight goes, the Lithium batteries are less than half the weight of Lead Acid batteries, so, you can install quite a few LiFePo4 batteries before you really impact your pin weight appreciably.

As far as fitting your batteries into your hold, LiFePo4 batteries can be mounted in any orientation, so you could easily lay them on their sides and stack multiple layers on top of each other. I have even seen one installation where the batteries were mounted upside down on the ceiling of the hold area.
