2023 - 367bhs

Thanks for letting me in =to this group. My wife and I are purchasing a 2023 367BHS, my question is my tow rig big enough?
2019 Ram 2500 gasser
Pin weight is good, concern is overall GV. Everything that i am reading says I'm right at the limit. any advice would be greatly appreciated

Yeah, probably at your limit. I'd check your RAWR and the tires to see if they will handle 3,000 lb. or more pin weight plus other cargo.

Payload shows - 3380 on truck and 2453 on rig
GAWR Front is 5500 Back is 6000
Max Weight is my concern Truck is 14410 and GVWR on trailer is 14995

by my calculations it looks like im 500 over

You can't go by advertised pin weight - those are completely empty numbers. The 367BHS, when fully loaded, will put about 3,400 lbs. on the pin. By the time you add the weight for a hitch, passengers, etc., you would be over by hundreds - if not a thousand - pounds.

With a 5th wheel, the main concern is not what the truck will pull, but what the truck will carry. Your truck payload of 3,380 lbs. will pretty much be used up with just the hitch weight, and maybe the hitch.
