I see one for $217 which is the Blackstone Adventure Ready 22" Griddle with Stand and Adapter Hose. Is this a good price and model?

Does anybody know if there is a difference between the Adventure Ready and the On-The-Go models.

Also for those that have one would you get one again if something happened to it?

Is it worth the extra weight to get a 22" versus a 17"?

    Thanks.
We use a Griswold 403 camp stove with a Griswold #9 griddle. Adapted the stove to propane. It cooks great! We use the griddle on the fire pit sometimes to make Fajitas.

Peggy's son has it and loves it. Too big for us so we have the 28" one.

That's a great idea. I just might try that as we don't always use the stand that came with it. And yes, that stand I sometimes find a pain to adjust.

    Looks good to me.

I've always used a Weber charcoal grill and never used a outdoor griddle.

Though much pricier than the blackstone, it has griddle or grill options. It also has an optional griddle accessory that covers 2/3's so it leaves 1/3 as a grill. Haven't used it yet so can't give you an opinion yet, but have high hopes. seems to have good reviews.

I made the mistake of picking up a non-Kingsford charcoal one time that was on sale. Never again.

That's a nice setup. A combination grill/griddle might be what need. What ever I get I plan on plumbing it to my 500 gallon propane tank.
