    The tankless in my reflection is gas only. I think the electric would not be able to heat quickly enough to work in a tankless setup.

    The on-demand ("tankless") water heaters are LP only. Research carefully about use in sub-freezing weather and winterizing, too.

    The cold weather issue Rob is eluding to is exactly why I'm NOT going to buy a new 150 series 280 RS to replace my Fox Mountain. Looking for a good used one with the "normal" electric/gas dsi water heater. Anyone want to sell me theirs?

    @Ronald-L

    Be careful... not to long ago there were reports of misinformation in the Furrion (I think) manual for the on-demand water heaters. Incorrect steps were given for winterizing which resulted in several cracked heat exchangers. There are several good guides on YouTube, though. The rest of the stuff is pretty simple once you get the hang of it.

    Here are a few "bonus" forum tips:

    1) If you use "Reply With Quote" (to the right of "Reply") as I have here, folks will know to whom you are responding and that person will get a notification.

    2) You can also tag folks using the "@" symbol and their user name (as I have done yours) - they'll also get a notification that way.
