Noise when retracting awnings
When retracting either one of the awnings, the “arms” are very noisy, and the noise seems to come from the lower arm moving down the track bolted to the side of the unit. Any recommendations as to the best lubricant to use for the little rollers on the lower arms that run up and down the vertical track? Tried WD-40 - it helped but didn’t solve the issue long term. And if anyone has any other thoughts on awning mechanism lubrication in regard to other points I should consider lubricating, I would appreciate that. Just don’t want to end up with something running down the sides of the unit below the vertical tracks when awnings are stowed. Thanks!

I wouldn't use WD-40 as it will attract dust, etc. I use a spray silicone lube on ours. It's important to keep everything clean and lube the strut pistons, too.

Here are a few "bonus" forum tips:
1) If you use "Reply With Quote" (to the right of "Reply") as I have here, folks will know to whom you are responding and that person will get a notification.
2) You can also tag folks using the "@" symbol and their user name (as I have done yours) - they'll also get a notification that way.
3) You can create a signature block with your RV and tow vehicle information (see mine below). That way you won't have to repeat that information whenever you post or ask a question - and others won't have to ask. You can create a signature by going to:
Forum Actions (on menu bar) -> Edit Profile -> Edit Signature (under My Settings on the left)
