My boat mechanic has always suggested we add stabilizer calculated to treat the total gallons the tank holds (I use Stabil or Amsoil at double strength) and then top off with NON ethanol fuel before winter storage. His rational is that any air pocket left in cold temps has the potential for condensation to form. I have always believed a few dollars of overkill is a cheap investment if it might prevent thousands in repairs. FWIW YMMV

I will give it a try. Thanks

I use ethanol free 91 but there is no down season out west. Winter is dune season.... If no ethanol free I just top off with fresh never had a issue.
