City water back flowing
The city water is back flowing to fresh water tank and filling it up. Going to install a check valve. Question is, should the valve be installed before the water pump or after.

If the city water is flowing into the fresh water tank when you only want it to flow to your coach, it seems there would be an issue at your Nautilus panel. The valve that allows you to direct water to the fresh tank or to the coach should restrict it from flowing to both at once. Best solution would be to troubleshoot and replace/repair that valve rather than introducing new components. It is not uncommon for those valves to fail.

The problem is with the water pump. Replaced it and that took care of the problem but I want something to use in an emergency. Not a permanent fix.

If installing a check valve it goes between the pump and the fresh tank, or to say it another way; it goes on the inlet side of the pump.

Thank you for the info. That's what I thought but I wanted to make sure.
