Grand Design / Furrion AC/ Heater Issue

I have a Grand Design 2800 BH. The Furrion thermostat DOES NOT control the interior temperature UNLESS I run the AC fan on automatic via the heater setting per the Furrion/Lippert technical rep response.
ISSUE - I’m screwed using the heater at any campground that does not supply an electrical convection (National, state, BLM, etc)
Any thoughts on a different T Stat that will overcome this issue??

There are many threads on this. Search “Furrion thermostat” and you’ll find three solutions: put the temp probe through the AC grill so it hangs below it, relocate the probe to the wall near the thermostat, or use the fix Furrion came out with almost a year ago which means installing a newly redesigned thermostat. There are detailed information about each of these approaches including pros and cons. I relocated the probe to the wall in my 2022 3100RD and the heat/AC works perfectly. Good luck.
