    What is this for?

We have a 2019 Reflection 287 & never noticed this until we had a blow out coming home last week.
Can anyone tell us what it is for? Click image for larger version.

It looks like the spare tire crank to me. There should be a hole in the skirting right around this area for you to fit your crank wrench in to lower the spare tire.

Could be either one. Both my manual slide cranks and my spare tire crank look like that.

No hole unless it went thru the black fender skirt - which isn’t there anymore!

Is this sticking out toward the passenger side of the camper and does it look like it aligns with the center of the spare tire?

If yes, then it is your spare tire tensioner. It raises and lowers the spare tire to the ground. There is a metal plate attached to a cable that goes through the center of the spare tire, this is the pulley that you attach the long hand crank to which lowers the spare.

Thanks for that info we will investigate more when it isn’t raining.
The blow out took off the “fender” where the hole should have been.

Thanks for all for the reply’s & suggestions!

Its the manual crank for the slide out. If you have a slide on both sides ? there will be one on each side. the crank controls the slide on the opposing side. GL
