I found the picture, and the video. Thanks.

It looks like the sealant around the sink is completely gone. Did you remove it? With no sealant there, the water would get up under the countertop and cause the countertop and wood to separate?

The original photo I posted was what it was like when it originally started to separate. I removed the old silicon and put in a new bead. Unfortunately, by then, there was already too much space between the sink and the laminate. I sealed it from water good enough to get us through our trip.

I just took that video to show that the laminate was lose over the particle board backing.

I am currently removing the sink and replacing with a drop in so water will come nowhere near the particle board under the laminate.

I feel sorry for folks who can not make these repairs on their own.

We had the sealant come lose on our previous trailer, but the countertop was solid so no worries there, but I went underneath and fabbed up some support so the sink wouldn't fall. Very poor design to glue in a sink in something that is constantly bouncing down the road.

I just mention the roof because you seemed shocked that any part of the trailer should need this type of maintenance and I hope you have been on your roof to inspect it before a leak occurs there
None of these are helpful at all to a person who has 1 year old trailer where the sink is separating from the countertop and the countertop is delaminating. Absolutely no one with a brand new trailer should ever need to inspect every piece of caulking on their trailer in less than a year. That's just ridiculous.

I would hope this place is more helpful and understanding than this thread shows.

Thank you. That "input" was nothing but rude and condescending.

My apologies but he wasn’t looking for help. I think you will find I am helpful on this forum but when a person makes a post on someone else’s thread telling us “buyers beware” I am going to remind people that these are maintenance items
My intentions were not meant to be condescending or rude just unfortunately the way the internet works

My apologies to the OP as well

Richard, did you ever get an answer from Mike and Karen on the details? Having same issue with our 2021 2600rb. Thanks, Steve
