Solar Panels finally mounted on roof

Well I finally got to installing my solar panels. Took about 2 1/2 hours. They are on solid. Came out good. Tried to mount them to minimize shading and balance with the ability to walk on the roof.

    800 watts, Newpowa panels.

Next step is to wire them up 2p2s to the Victron 150/60 down below.Click image for larger version.

Thanks. Yea, I put 4 panels down. Gonna see how this goes first. Not too hard a job, my son-in-law did the hard grunt work like shleping the panels onto the roof.

Got 600 ah of Lifepo4, that is next to figure out. Going to install them in my front closet on the curb side.

Very nice! I'm debating it for our 31G. Using a 200 watt suitcase now but more would be better.

Thanks. Really excited about it. This is a multi-phase installation that ends with a Victron Multiplus II X 120 which Will definitely be the really hard part of this upgrade.

I did the Victron Multiplus 12/2000, BMV 712 and Lynx power in and Chins 300ah LiFePO4 battery ours earlier this year. Been great for us once we got everything figured out. The Victron stuff does not like the Onan generators so getting the pass thru to work was a bit frustrating. All good now.

When you decide to finally install, I recommend taking a serious look at residential panels. They are more efficient and they can be bought for less Dollars per Watt than the typical Renogy, Grape, or Newpowa, Solar panels. You will need fewer panels which will make your installation easier.

    I recommend panels around 325 - 400 Watts.

Powering all this fun with 1200 Watts of Solar, two Tesla, Model S, battery modules, 24 volt Victron Inverter.

Interesting. So will the residential panels, which are used to being mounted on a non-moving object, be unaffected by the road pounding of a moving RV?
