Sounds like you have it covered. Good to hear. I had to lift ours 3" to get level. Let us know how it turns out.

Well in my case, I wiped out the 3 step stairs last fall so I need new stairs anyway. I have 4 step stairs on order as part of this lift project. The 3 steps often fell short anyway, so this is a good thing regardless...
Another related question is what about my sumo springs? Will I need to add more spacers for them too?Last edited by Grandesigner; 01-12-2023 at 08:04 AM.

I have recently been following this thread. I have a similar situation. We have a brand new Reflection 150 270BN. The attached photo is the first and only tow from the dealer to the winter storage facility. Both the TV and RV are empty however the fifth wheel is definitely nose high. It’s probably at least 2” out of level. I have less than 5” clearance from trailer to bed rail so lowering the hitch (B&W Companion) is not a viable option. Lifting the trailer would appear to be a solution however since it’s a brand new trailer will altering the suspension void the warranty? Overall height should not be a problem at 12’-0”.

Hank,
Not sure about the warranty but it came down to this for me.
Do I want to mod my brand-new truck and is it even feasible? No and no.
Can I mod my 5W easily? Yes
Of course, my 5W is out of warranty by now anyway, so that made it easier to decide.
Maybe ask the dealer and/or GD for recommendations?Dan and Rita

Agreed that I’m certainly not considering making any substantial modifications to the truck that’s much more expensive than the 5W and that I depend on for a daily driver. There’s really no feasible modifications that I could make to the truck. Lowering it doesn’t seem like a very good alternative to me. I already checked with the GD dealer and of course not surprisingly they said to check with GD. The dealer did say that his horse trailer also sits nose high too and he hasn’t noticed any abnormal tire wear, for whatever that is worth. I inquired 2 days ago with my contact at GD and haven’t heard back. Maybe he’s on vacation

I briefly thought about lowering the truck, which would be easy to remove the 2" rear blocks. But the front does not seem feasible at all, so it would be nose up instead of the 5W...end of that story.
Let us know what GD says and maybe ask them why their 5Ws don't fit modern trucks, lolDan and Rita
