    265BH weight

Just wanted to share this just in case anyone is thinking about buying one of these. This is a 2021 transcend xplor 265BH FULLY LOADED. Loaded for a 12 day camping trip. I’m not sure if I weighed it correctly but I unhooked and pulled my car completely off the scale.

Wow how loaded did you have it? GD list 6,450lb UVW, and a GCVW of 7,995? You have around 1,700lb in gear in there? Is it loaded more toward the front? Did you try to center on axle?

I was thinking of this model (and 251bh) but at about 1,000lb tongue weight I'd be over spec with my family in the truck Is this typical of GD? One of the main reason I'm considering the Xplor series is their UVW and hitch weights are pretty light.

    Our numbers are

    Axle 1: 3980
    Axle 2: 4920
    Axle 3: 7480

This is hooked up, with a WD hitch, and a F-250 gasser.

UVWs and brochure hitch weights are pretty useless. Use 12 - 13% of the trailer's GVWR to estimate a loaded hitch weight. This calculator is very handy:
