Nashville
Any suggestions on a nice affordable spot boondocking or full hookup within driving distance of Nashville?
Gonna plan a trip from Twentynine Palms (my son is a Marine there) all the way too Nashville around the end of January next year…Planning on spending a week or too there.
Probably head up to 40 from the base and then East….Will be a couple month trip.
I’m a musician so would prefer something that would suite my fancy in that department…lol
I’ve looked at all the RV apps and honestly, it’s hard too know…They all look beautiful..
We don’t really wanna stay near town and don’t mind a commute from the country.
Thanks
Jason

We've always stayed at Two Rivers. We stayed at Nashville RV Resort near Two Rivers once when it was a Jellystone and didn't like it. Not sure what it is like now.
We stay at Two Rivers because it is close to town. We haven't been there in about 4 years so not sure how things are now.Larry KE4DMG

I'm over in E. TN, so no help with a campground for you...but....be prepared to experience below freezing temperatures in Nashville in Jan. The Nashville area seems to get a lot more "weather" than we do around the Knoxville area. Just a heads up.

We've stayed a Two Rivers 3 times with the most recent time being Jan this year. No complaints, will stay there again, close to Grand Ole Opery and have a shuttle to town (for a fee). Believe it's closest RV part to Nashville but it's still a few mile from downtown.

Two Rivers would be "in town" but being the dead of winter it might be better dealing with winter road conditions to get around town.

Hmmmm… Am I picking a bad time to be in Nashville? (February March)
Snow and ice is not a problem for me..
I suppose we could push it a month, but I need to be in the Idaho area by the time it starts warming up…
Was planning on coming home for a month before we head north..

January February are the coldest months with periods below freezing which results in salt on the roads.

Elm Hill RV Resort. Just about 10-15 minutes from downtown.
