    June Lake Loop Trip, Calif

Took our second trip out with the 303. Headed south on Highway 395 out of Reno to the June Lake Loop area down near Mammoth. Did some fishing and exploring of the area...... pictures on my phone won't post but here are a few from my camera. Great time and great weather..... no issues with the Reflection...... dry camping so we invested in a Honda 2000 generator before the trip...worked like a charm!

Not at June Lake where we camped...... Have heard others had issues camping at Twin Lakes outside Bridgeport....... A little further south in Mammoth they always have issues with bears. It might just be heaven.......

Funny thing a few years ago there was a hand written sign made of card board hanging on a post along the Bridgeport to Twin Lakes road stating "Beware if the Bears".

While I did see them they were visiting those that left food and/or garbage out. Not sure what they were thinking

Just wondering what highway 120 west bound through Yosemite is like for towing.

    Planehauler,

HWY 120 west bound through Yosemite goes up Tioga pass to above 9,000 feet. It is one of the more scenic rides however STEEEEEEEEP with an 8 mile section that ascends 2,500 feet. Below is a video I located going down to Lee Vining.

I've done that many times. In our Class C towing a trailer and with 2 different trailers. I've been on far worse passes. Going west bound feels safer because the edge is on the east bound side.

The Kingsbury Grade (Hwy 207), from 395 up to South Lake Tahoe is another tough climb!

Hey Brian (TahoeTrekker), we leaved in Truckee back in the early 80's, out in the Hillshire Development!

Would that be Glenshire lol ?....... We've been here since I retired in 07. But been coming here since I was a kid in the 60 70"s. I was over at Tioga Pass when we were at June Lake last month. Big sign at the bottom advising it's not recommended for trailers. Biggest thing I've ever pulled over it was tent trailer in the 90's, but you see people pulling 5ver"s up it sometimes. I agree with Paul westbound against the mountain is better than down eastbound along the edge. Although that's kind fun on a m/c.
