I’ve been in touch with the dealer and most likely they are going to come and get my GD and take it to the dealership. I don’t think when they do the PDI on a new unit that they are vey though, I have a list of about eight so items that that need fixing. For a brand new unit you would think that the dealer would inspect everything better before delivery.

Nope, very few dealers do a thorough PDI. This is why baby if it's recommend doing a PDI yourself, before you pay or sign anything.

If you search for my handle, I have a thread here that has the PDI I used.

My 2023 Reflection is the same and both dealer and GD say it’s normal. My previous rig did not look like this. I made sure everything was documented with my dealer and with grand design in case there are any issues down the road.Click image for larger version.

    I agree.

My roof bubbled and in looking at it, it appears there wasn't enough adhesive to hold the membrane down. With air flowing over the top, following the curve of the roof, it creates a negative air pressure (like an airplane wing). That negative pressure "pulls" on the roof, like the skin of an airplane wing. It's not designed to create lift like a wing, but it still creates the negative pressure.

Here is a great explanation: https://www.nas.nasa.gov/About/Educa...r/physics.html.

I agree with Rob, that cant be normal. I'd try again with GD, maybe you'll someone different that is more knowledgeable and even have another dealer take a quick peak at it while on the road next time.

I absolutely agree it isn’t normal. That is why I documented it with both dealer and GD so there is no question down the road.

The problem with "down the road" is that, if long enough, they can start evoking "out of warranty" (and the roof warranty is only for material defects, not installation).

Been on the phone with GD all day long and the three people I spoke with say it is normal. I just know my previous GD never had a single bubble. I also climbed on the roofs of 10+ GD trailers and non looked like this either.
