    What volts are you showing when connected to shore power without the automotive battery charger connected? What i am getting at, is wether or not your converter is providing the 12VDC it should be providing.

    Also, follow the black wire which comes from your battery just to be sure it actually goes to ground, and follow the red wire to be sure it actually goes to the battery disconnect switch. They probably do, but i have seen where the cable colors were reversed from what is normal.
