My mechanic is an independent diesel specialty shop. They recently recommended a cetane additive because they've been seeing damage from water and biodiesel.
I tried HotShots EDT on my last trip. One $20 bottle lasted 6K miles and appeared to improve mileage 1 to 1.5mpg towing or not, for me that's about 10%. That's way over $300 saved.Rick

I put a fuel disaster kit on my 2012 F-350 6.7L from Snyder Performance Engineering. https://www.spediesel.com/collection...prevention-kit
There is no cutting of any fuel lines on their kit and you can always go back to factory configuration. There are some good YouTube videos explaining their kit and the install. With that said, I have had no issues with my pump and don’t use additives regularly.2020 Reflection 311BHS / 16K Airborne Sidewinder
