RIP. Absolutely a horrible accident. Neither pilot saw it coming. I feel for the families and friends who lost loved ones.
My wife and I owned and flew airplanes for 40 years. In those 40 years we lost 9 friends in 6 separate aircraft accidents. Every time there’s an accident it brings back bad memories.Last edited by Jerryr; 11-13-2022 at 09:37 AM.

I have way too much time flying formation in aircraft with crap visibility (E-2C, SH-60B) so I can see how this happens.
My theory is tje 63 pilot was scope locked on the plane he was trying to join on and the downward visibility isn't great. He never saw the 17.2019 GD Momentum 397TH
