    Compressor cycles on and off.

I have a 2014 Reflection 323BHS. When using my A/C in auto the compressor cycles on and the fan speed goes into high mode. Cold air will come out. Compressor turns off, fan speed goes to low. Which should be normal operation, except it barely cools off the interior. If I take it out of Auto, I can run the fan speed on any mode but the compressor still cycles on and off. Example, thermostat at 72, outside temp 96, inside temp 90. Anyone with or had a similar situation?

Yes, this was a frequent problem on the 2014 models. There is a partition (baffle) that separates the cold air output from the return air side. The baffle has slipped and it is allowing the cold air to immediately return in the return air side. Since the sensor is in the return air side, it sees the cold air, and shuts down the compressor since it believes that the coach is at temperature. It is a very easy fix.

Remove the screws on the bottom side of the AC where the filter is housed. There will be a foil covered baffle that has moved. Put it back in place and use metal duct tape to secure and seal it. Your AC will work nicely after that.

Check out post number 10 of this thread to see photos I posted regarding this problem in 2014.

Matraub, this is a very simple fix. By the way for a very reasonable $12 year you can become a site sponsor and have full access to pictures and attachments.
