Propane Pigtail Replacement

Sorry if this was covered somewhere already but I couldn't find it addressed anywhere when I searched for it. I found a leaking pigtail this morning from the regulator to the tank. I figured it would be an easy switch but when I took the old one off, I realized it was a 3/8 fitting. I cannot find a replacement anywhere with a 3/8 fitting. All I can find is 1/4". It's such an animal even made anymore? Should I go ahead and swap the changeover regulator to what seems now to be the more standard 1/4" inlets? Got a trip coming in a few days for Thanksgiving so I have to act fast. Thanks in advance for the input.

Would an adapter work? (https://smile.amazon.com/Forney-7553.../dp/B003X5Q8DM) We have the 1/4" fitting, used this pigtail https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00192MUJW.

Camping world has the adapters. I had to do a swap on the road and they had the right styles.

I was hoping to hear that an adapter would work fine as it would it be preferred to swapping the whole regulator. Thanks a bunch for the advice and links!
