That's surprising - seemed to be pretty popular and they don't advertise anything in the queue with that size screen. But if you really want one, on sale at Technorv.

The new 890 is now the 895. Not sure what changed. I looked - maybe just some extra map features. I guess it was 8" product refresh time. I should check on what the 1090 has compared to the 890.

I know when I got my 890 it was on sale as the 1090 was coming out. So now maybe the 890 is on sale again as the 895 is coming out.

ahhhh..... the joys of chasing technology advances.......

2" more screen. I think that's the main difference.

Been on the fence of getting the Garmin since on our last trip Google lead us down a dirt road for 10km until we got to a low covered bridge. Had to back up for 2km until we got to a side entrance that I could back into to turn around. We usually double check our route the night before but I guess we missed that covered bridge but it did look fairly new or refreshed. Lol it just created more travel memories. We still talk about it today. FWIW, the new 2023 Ford HD is suppose to have the trailer height option built in.

That new trailer height option will be great for the first three months, then you have to pay the subscription if you want to keep it.

If you want to keep ANY of the active navigation on 2022's and up Super Dutys you have to pay a yearly subscription after the first 90 days.

If it actually routes you correctly based on trailer height input it might be worth it, if not, just stick to phone GPS and use android auto or the apple equivalent.

I'm also happy with the RV890 - just be cautious around Indianapolis and going north on US 220 from Greensboro to Rocky Mount. Done that one a couple of times and last time, one overpass says 13'7" which it didn't say before.

The only two differences I could see is the the 895 has a Galileo sensor for EU GPS and offers downloadable Sat imagery for your campgrounds.

My RAM came with 5 years of Sirius XM Travel Link and Traffic - the only parts I really cared about. I've never extended any of the Sirius offerings despite the continued spam.
