    2023 310gk

Looking to replace the king mattress that came with our new RV. Any suggestions as to what brand you would recommend? Also, will the RV King (72x80) work well. Measurement on what came with RV was 70.5x79.5). Thank you for your help.

We put in a Sleep Number but ours is a queen. Best deal was from Campingworld.

Welcome to the forum, lots of good folks here who can help. Have you considered a topper? We found a 3" gel foam topper that made our stock mattress sleepable.

We got a 2022 310GK this summer, wanted the king size bed… never slept on the piece of crap that came in the trailer.

After some research we Ordered a wilderness Montana hybrid RV king. It’s pricey and weighs in at almost 130#… comes rolled up and vacuum packed, put it on the platform, right side up, before you break the seal… they have a great satisfaction guarantee.

My wife wants one for the house now.

RV King 72x80 works just fine. We replaced ours at the National Rally this year with one from Lippert. Surprisingly, it has held up so far and is comfortable.

This has been discussed MANY times on the forum:

In our case, we have a Tuft & Needle. If you replace with a foam mattress, be sure you understand condensation and mold formation and use something like this:

You'll also likely need to replace the bed lift struts for a heavier mattress.

We went with a C4 Sleep Number bed. We both love it. Yes, you can't use all the "features" when you boondock, but that's okay for us.

We replaced our original queen with a C2 Sleep Number Bed queen. I put the pump under the plywood at the head of the bed. I drilled a couple of holes for the air tubes and a hole out the side for the power cord.
