Flooded

I bought a 247gbh two months ago. My wife decided that we needed to lease it when we aren’t using it the first guy we rented it to wasn’t paying attention when I showed hm how to use it. He screwed the water hose into the waste port and flooded the bathroom and under bunk storage area. When I got it back I purchased a contractor fan and ran it 72 hours on high aimed at the bath and storage area. (lucky iit was not level when it flooded and it only got wet in these areas. Thought it waould be fine, but when I moved it to storage I noticed it was leaking through the insulation under the area it flooded. Can anyone tell my what else I might do to keep it from molding? I also opened the air vents It’s a pretty closed ventilation system. I’m scared of mold in this closed system

So sorry to hear about your flood. Sounds like you're on the right track trying to dry it out. I'd be concerned about what got pumped into the coach when the toilet overflowed.

If you have water coming from under the trailer you probably have water up inside the chloroplast and in the insulation that is in there. Getting it dry is going to be troublesome, you need to drop the choroplast to get it dry in there. There are lots of nooks and crannies in there for water to hide and start the mold process. I would suggest getting it open, and putting as much dry air across it as is possible. I don’t know of a practical way to prevent the mold from running rampant, ideally you would tent it and put a big ozone generator on it or do some other mold treatment.

That's rough, sorry to hear it. The good news is you don't have any insulation in the belly to worry about (it's my understanding that Transcends and Imagines do not - I know my Imagine does not. You could still drop the back quarter of Coraplast (belly) and let that dry out well. The walls are sandwiched with open cell foam, so the insulation won't absorb water like batted insulation would. So, a fan and time will tell if you'll have any lingering issues but I wouldn't think it will be too bad if the water didn't sit for days to soak into the wood or anything. Good luck.
