Found a Rat's nest in the Basement!

    2020 Reflection 303RLS

I am installing an inverter/charger along with Lithium batteries and found this when I opened up the basement to get at the old converter.

I am a little God smacked here. Is this the norm? Quite the install.

Yes, it's the norm. Actually yours looks pretty good, compared to some.

When these rigs go down the line, the workers make the connections as they can grab them, regardless of who's reaching over/under their work to make connections.

    Thanks Everyone

Good to know. Stopped worrying about it already. Well maybe a little till I get my cables through there.

That's similar to how my 2022 303RLS looks unfortunately and there isn't much working room for other accessories down there. Will all your batteries and hardware fit in that occupied space? I have decided to use the front compartment for all of mine and mount the mountable things to the wall between the front compartment and the basement pass-thru compartment. I'm planning on moving my new converter/charger to the front compartment as well. This will allow everything to be easily mountable and serviceable from the front compartment without removing my basement stored items and the basement compartment wall. The only item that will be hidden in this rat's nest will be my EMS surge protector.

The mobile tech we use here in Maryland was over last week. He told me he had recently been called to do some warranty work on a newer fifth wheel (not GD) on the military installation where we are staying. He removed the basement wall to access what he was going to work on and the owner, a female NCO, "about had a heart attack" when she saw the mess behind the wall. Turns out she's a helicopter A&P (certified airframe and powerplant aircraft mechanic). She told him not to put the basement wall back in and that she "would be taking care of it." I imagine it'll look really nice when she's done.

This is the pedant in me replying: I think you meant "gob smacked". And mine looks just like that, if not a bit worse.

My last trailer was worse. But If I had started from the begiinning, it would be a lot cleaner. But that would cost more $$.
