    Solitude stereo not connected correctly?

We have the stock Rockford Fosgate system, but it’s never worked correctly and only plays the radio. I’ve long figured it’s not wired correctly but didn’t care enough to bother with it.
I was doing some maintenance and cleaning of the recliners and had one pulled out today.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but shouldn’t the 2 subwoofers behind the recliners have some wires to them?
Unless they are wired from behind and through the outside wall, which I doubt. The connections on the front are empty, as you can see in the photos.

I don't have that setup, but yes, at a minimum the sub-woofers would need some sort of power supply. They could be powered by the 12-volt system and get their signal wirelessly. Have they ever worked for you?

Subs never worked, and I know the wiring isn’t correct, as I get horrible feedback when trying to run stereo with tv. Can’t sync Bluetooth either, so only fm and am radio works.
Will need to rewire it all some day... or better idea is remove the subs and get a nice sound bar system.

Note on the photos, that power cable is from the recliner. No power cords from/to the subs.

Those aren't subwoofers. I have the same boxes in my Solitude and one of them fell off once. They just cover the back of the outside speakers, and the wire connections on the back don't go to anything. Stupid.
