    Inspect your components!

Had routine brake, bearing and axle service done recently on my Solitude. Tech found a broken weld on my equalizer. I would probably not seen this myself. Dodged a bullet! Thankful for quality work at Crestview RV in Buda, TX!

    Equalizer.
I might have caught this at some point, but obviously didn't before I hauled the rig 80 miles to the service center!
    Yikes!

Time to consider MorRyde's x-factor. It'll spread that load when making a sharp turn and maybe prevent another failure. Consider installing 3 - one at each hanger.

IMO...it means that the Dexter EZ flex is a much better design. That wont happen with a better equalizer.

I don't even know what the Morryde's x-factor is. But if I have a piece of equipment from a manufacturer that fails....my first thought isn't to buy Mor(e) kit from that manufacturer.

Very true, that is why I went back to EZ-Flex from the wimpy Lippert Equaflex that came on our present trailer.
