Floor opening for electrical - not sealed
On our 22MLE, most of the floor penetrations seem well sealed with foam or caulk, EXCEPT for the electrical passing through the floor behind the converter. It's just a 4" hole in the floor with wires and plumbing running up through it. There is a lot of stuff coming up through there so I can see that it might not be trivial to seal it up well. Nevertheless, open like this seems like an invitation for mice and insects. Has anybody done anything different with this opening?

If mice get to the other side of that hole, they have easy access to any part of the camper. The outdoors is sealed out beyond that.

We have the 22RBE, and that hole also had a bunch of wires, but it had spray foam around them. Guess it depends on who is pulling wires that day on the assembly line.

Somewhere on this forum, there is/was discussion about these holes also serving the purpose of allowing air circulation out of the "basement" when running the furnace, which has a duct directed into this area.
