Another consideration here is production times.

Im being told end of February to end of March-ish....

I need to get the unit in service..

Reason I say that, is that if I wait for units to start shipping to the dealers, I may be waiting longer than the one I order perhaps? Hard to tell. They don't make many 398's to begin with from what it looks like.

Fwiw, mine came in a couple of weeks earlier than anticipated. U can see my dates below.
(Unlike the GM or Ford trucks…..grrrrrrr)

Sounds like the "couple months" statements is common

RV Shows are kicking off in January all around my area, and Myles RV YT channel said recently that they use those shows to off-load LAST years remaining stock and you probably wont get a real good deal above and beyond just going to the lot where there are hundreds of units waiting for you minus the popcorn.
