    George C Wallace Tunnel

We will be traveling from Houston TX to St Augustine FL this March and are looking for any advice/recommendations regarding the George C Wallace tunnel along our I-10 route near Mobile AL. Our 2020 Solitude is 13'5" heigh and 42' in length. Thanks all!

We've traveled I-10 from Gulf Shores area through Mobile to Louisiana with no issues. Don't remember any low clearance bridges/tunnels.

Both my Low Clearances database and RV Trip Wizard have no problems on that route. I have my height set to route me around anything lower than 13'10". My actual height is 13'6", but I prefer that 4" of extra clearance.

Thanks all! We have traveled over many large bridges, including the Mackinac Bridge in northern MI, but this will be our first tunnel. Another first in our travels!

AFAIK, that tunnel doesn't have any propane restrictions.

I didn't remember seeing any warnings when we went through it.

We just drove through it 2 weeks ago and I looked carefully for any propane restrictions as I run with the absorption refrigerator on. No signs, no restrictions and no problems were observed.
